How Charta handles information.

Information we collect

Charta may collect contact details, organization details, request context, company inquiries, and messages you choose to submit through the website or app entry points.

How we use information

We use information to create and review requests, respond to inquiries, improve public content, protect the service, and coordinate follow-up where appropriate.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement. With your permission, we also use PostHog product analytics to measure page visits, anonymous unique visitors, link and button interactions, successful conversion steps, and click heatmaps. These services may process page paths, referrers, approximate location derived from network information, browser, operating system, device type, and anonymous device identifiers. Charta does not use this data for cross-site advertising profiles.

Analytics choices and safeguards

PostHog remains off until you accept analytics cookies. You can change that choice at any time using Cookie settings, and Charta respects browser Do Not Track signals. PostHog session replay, surveys, feature flags, broad form capture, and text capture are disabled on this site. Charta does not send names, email addresses, form contents, free text, or Request Room text to PostHog.

Sharing

Charta does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the website, deliver messages, secure systems, or support reviewed requests.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to respond to inquiries, maintain records, operate the service, and meet legal or security obligations.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting Charta. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
